Charlize Theron Unwinds on the Beach

When the hustle and bustle of Hollywood life gets a bit overwhelming, stars seek solace in their families. And yesterday (October 19), Charlize Theron was spotted getting some quality time with her mother.

The “Italian Job” cutie and her mom Gerda Theron took a beach stroll in Malibu, drinking wine and playing with Charlize’s dogs in the sand.

In related news, Theron has found herself in a bit of a legal quagmire, as Swiss watchmaker Raymond Weil is suing her for 10 million pounds on the basis that she ruined their ad campaign by wearing a Christian Dior watch to a film festival.

According to Weil, Charlize was paid 1.5 millino pounds to be the face of their “Shine” range and expected her to wear one of the 4,000-pound watches at all public events. When she failed to do so, “She undercut our entire ad campaign,” said Weil’s lawyer David Jaraslowicz.
