Charlize Theron: Back on the Market?

She’s been in a relationship with Stuart Townsend ever since they met on the set of “Trapped” back in 2001. But now Charlize Theron is said to be single.

At last week’s Hope for Haiti telethon, the “Italian Job” actress was without her commitment ring, a piece of jewelry Charlize received from Stewart she previously claimed she “never took off.”

And according to an insider, it was Charlize who sent Townsend packing following a holiday trip to Mexico. “They had become more like brother and sister than lovers. It was she who ended it.”

Prior to that, Theron claimed she considered herself married to Stuart, though they’d never made it official. “I didn’t do a church wedding or anything but we consider ourselves husband and wife.”
