Celine Dion Says Goodbye To Las Vegas

She’s had quite the run in Sin City during her tenure in the “A New Day” show at Caesars Palace. And now Celine Dion is moving on to the next phase of her life- concentrating on being a mother.

The “That’s the Way it is” singer addressed the crowd through tears, "It's hard to believe that we've come to an end. It's a pleasure to perform for you, but I'm extremely passionate to be a mother."

During its nearly-five year run, Dion’s gig has grossed over $400 million. But as all good things do, this one had to come to an end.

At the end of the show, Celine’s husband, Rene Angelil, and her 7-year-old son joined her onstage in an emotional moment, presenting her with a rose and a big hug.

Following her final performance, Celine told press, "It was a wonderful adventure... It was an emotional night. It was a wonderful adventure."
