Cate Blanchett: Toy Shop Mommy

Starting the week off with a trip to the toy store, Cate Blanchett was spotted heading into Toys R Us with her two boys in New York City.

Stepping out of a taxi, the “Elizabeth” actress looked cute in jeans, high boots and a gray coat while hurrying her kids along to avoid the rainy weather.

In other news, the 40-year-old recently told press she doesn’t mind living in a male-dominated household – she has three sons with her playwriter husband, Andrew Upton.

Blanchett tells People magazine, “Having boys is great. It's a neat position to be in and I love the high energy that comes along in raising boys. It's fun."

Something else she loves? Vacuuming. The actress says, “It can be quite therapeutic!"
