Australian actress and proud mother Cate Blanchett took a special guest along to the Australia 2020 summit on Saturday (April 19) - her newborn son!
Less than a week after giving birth to her third child, Ignatius Martin Upton, Blanchett was busy as co-chair of the creative meeting held at Parliament House in Canberra.
Also in attendance was fellow Aussie actor Hugh Jackman, who took a moment to praise the Oscar winning actress on his way into the talks.
"I have given her my kids - she is looking after them for the weekend," he joked. "Cate Blanchett is superwoman ... she is amazing on every level, I think she is flawless as a person and I am thrilled that she is leading our stream."
Joking about the "superwoman" tag, actor Rhys Muldoon piped in, saying: "She has just had three kids more this morning, so there will be four little kids at the summit with her."
Meanwhile, during the course of the day, Cate said that she expects "stronger partnerships to be forged between the arts and Government as a result of the summit."
"I'm extremely thrilled about our new Government's vigor, vision and optimism and I'm genuinely excited about the opportunity this summit presents," she told.
"We're here today to think beyond our current practice and beyond our current needs. We're here to imagine the best possible society in the year 2020 and then reverse engineer our way back."
