Carrie Underwood Arrives for the Oscars

Arriving in Los Angeles just ahead of this year's Academy Awards, Carrie Underwood was spotted landing at LAX Airport on Saturday night (February 21).

The country singing cutie donned a powder blue Ed Hardy zip-up hoodie with jeans and cowgirl boots as she was quickly led through the terminal and out to an awaiting car.

Meanwhile, Miss Underwood recently spoke up about the crazy rumors surrounding the Rihanna/Chris Brown assault investigation, saying that it looked as if the couple was doing just fine at the party prior to the alleged incident.

"They were fine at the Grammy party,” Carrie told Us magazine. “I don’t think anybody actually knows what happened. I have no advice because, thank goodness, I’ve never been in any kind of abusive situation.”

Explaining how she thinks that it would be best if the public and press just let those involved in the situation figure it all out, Underwood adds, "You hear a new one (story) every five minutes, and some of them are getting kind of ridiculous. I really hope everyone will lay off and just let everybody who’s involved figure out everything first."
