Carrie Ann Inaba Splits from Artem Chigvintsev

Carrie Ann Inaba and her boyfriend, dancer Artem Chigvintsev, have ended their two and a half year relationship.

Inaba told People magazine, “I’m single. Artem and I broke up in the beginning of November. As much as our relationship was really good, the two realized that neither was the one for the other. It’s very sad to let go of something that was so good on so many levels.”

The Dancing with the Star judge, 41, met Chigvintsey, 26, several years ago while being on So You Think You Can Dance back in 2006.

Inaba says that her ex was, “a fine gentleman. I have never gone out with somebody that grounded, always ready to talk it out. I’m very happy for him and the success he’s having.”

Chigvintsey is on tour with Dancing with the Stars, which ends in February. Meanwhile, Inaba will soon be back on Dancing with the Stars for the eighth season.
