Checking out the stage adaptation of her hit animated movie, Cameron Diaz was on-hand for the opening night of the new Broadway musical "Shrek" at the Broadway Theatre in New York City on Sunday night (December 14).
Sporting a white Bill Blass dress, a black Dior coat and bright red lipstick, the blonde beauty then headed to attend the show's afterparty at the swank Plaza Hotel.
During her visit to the red carpet, Diaz was asked whether she'd consider portraying her movie character "Fiona" on stage, to which she emphatically replied: "No. Absolutely not. What they do up there ... is, to me, impossible. It's wonderful, though. They've done such a great job. They worked really hard, and it really pays off."
Giving her take on how the performance fared, Diaz told press, "It's hilarious. There's so many laughs. ... It's great to see all the actors playing it together, because when we do it for the animated (films), we never see each other. We don't work together."
