Britney Spears Wills Sister Against Mom
The hits just keep on coming in the public feud between Britney Spears and her mother Lynne. This time it looks like Britney is playing dirty, trying to gain the loyalty of her younger sister.
Britney has officially changed her will to leave all of her assets to her younger sister, actress Jamie Lynn. And the youngest Spears is having a hard time being in the middle of the family dispute.
A family friend told press, "By leaving Jamie Lynn everything in her will, Britney is using her money to pit her sister against her mom. Jamie Lynn loves both her mom and her sister - and she doesn’t know what to do."
Perhaps the sudden struggle for Britney to gain the loyalty of her sister has to do with the supposed alliance between her ex-husband Kevin Federline and her mother. Brit has told her mother to stay away from her kids, but Kevin has offered visitation to the kids for Brit’s mom. Therefore, Lynne wants Kevin to gain custody of the kids in the upcoming legal battle.
“Britney said that Jamie Lynn needs to know what her mother is doing to her. She wants her sister to be on her side.” While this strategy could possibly make sense on paper, it surely spells disaster in practice.
