Britney Spears' MTV Performance Is Almost Here
It seems like it was forever ago when we first learned that Britney Spears was planning a comeback. But the fabled MTV Video Music Awards performance is already upon us.
The troubled singer is poised to pull herself out of musical obscurity with a killer performance at the 2007 VMAs scheduled for this Sunday night. She will perform her new song “Gimme More” with the help of Mindfreak Criss Angel.
Joining Britney as performers on the show are Kanye West, Fall Out Boy, Chris Brown, Foo Fighters, Rihanna, Common, Nelly Furtado, Gym Class Heroes, Akon and Soulja Boy, T-Pain, Cee-Lo, Daniel Merriweather, Lil' Wayne, Alicia Keys, T.I., Adam Levine, Mastadon, and Serj from System of A Down.
And after the show is all over, Justin Timberlake and Timbaland are scheduled to host a Fantasy Suite party, complete with DJ Mark Ronson and his horn section providing the tunes. All in all, this Sunday could be a big day for a lot of people. Let’s hope Britney brings her A-game.
