Britney Spears Gets Stuck With The Bill
You can bet Kevin Federline is feeling a huge wave of relief. Earlier this week, the judge in his custody case with ex-wife Britney Spears ordered the pop singer to pay his legal fees.
The bill has come out to $120,000 immediately, with additional fees still to come. Mark Vincent Kaplan told press, “We've already incurred more fees above the $164,000 in the document, and we expect we will be incurring significant other fees going into the trial. I intend to make further fee orders up to the date of the trial."
Don’t judge this situation too quickly… keep in mind K-Fed grossed a measly $7,436 after business expenses in 2006, while the “Gimme More” singer brings in around $737,000 a month.
Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Scott Gordon said his decision was based on the "disparity between the parties income" and that "the vast majority of the ... litigation deals with [Spears's] conduct."
