Brangelina: Nominated for Orange Awards

They’re already enjoying awards show season here in the States, and it sounds like Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt also have a shot at some film awards abroad.

The Orange British Academy Film Awards (the UK equivalent of the Oscars) has announced this year’s nominees, and both the “Fight Club” stud and his “Girl, Interrupted” gal are on the list.

Ang has received a nod for the Best Leading Actress category for her role in “Changeling,” while Brad is up for the Best Leading Actor trophy for his work in “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.”

And as if that wasn’t enough, Pitt will also compete in the Best Supporting Actor category for his role in the Coen Brothers’ “Burn After Reading,” going head-to-head with “Dark Knight” contender Heath Ledger.
