Brad Pitt: Back to Cannes

He’s been a regular staple at the Cannes International Film Festival over the past few years, and it sounds like Brad Pitt will be competing again this year.

This time around, the “Fight Club” stud will be appearing in “Inglourious Basterds,” the new WWII action film from esteemed director Quentin Tarantino.

Though the film isn’t set to open in theaters until August 21st, Tarantino has assured the Cannes organizers that he’ll be ready to show the film at the festival, which runs from May 13-24th.

In years past, Pitt has appeared in Cannes selections like “Troy” and “Ocean’s Thirteen,” as well as supported partner Angelina Jolie for her films “Changeling” and “Kung Fu Panda.”
