Hitting the West Village, the "Gossip Girl" co-star couple rung in Penn's 22nd at "A Salt & Battery" - which boasts itself to be New York's only truly authentic
fish and chip shop.

Meanwhile, there's good news for the Dan Humphrey actor and his Serena van der Woodsen actress gal, as the CW keeps ordering up more and more episodes of the show.

According to Entertainment Weekly, "the network recently handed two further episodes to 'Gossip Girl,' but has now asked for one more installment, taking its sophomore season to 25 episodes."
