Avril Lavigne and Deryck Whibley: Splitsville

There has been widespread speculation of a split for some time now, and according to a report Avril Lavigne and her husband Deryck Whibley are calling it quits.

An inside source has revealed that the “I’m With You” singer initiated the break after being married to the Sum 41 frontman for three years.

The pal told press, “She dumped him and told him she was leaving him. She wants to move on.” Avril is reportedly kicking Deryck out of their $9.5 million mansion.

“Divorce papers will be filed any day now,” the source continued. Lavigne’s rep isn’t returning calls, while Deryck’s spokesperson has had no comment.
