Ashlee Simpson, Diddy Record Message for Barack

Doing their part to welcome the President-elect, Ashlee Simpson and Sean "Diddy" Combs were spotted arriving at Dream Bigger Studios to record a message for Barack Obama in Los Angeles on Tuesday (January 13).

Joining a number of fellow celebs, Simpson and Combs are participating in a video montage produced by Aston Kutcher one week before Obama's inauguration ceremony.

Along with Ashlee and Diddy, other celebrities spotted taking part in the video included Michelle Trachenberg, Jenna Elfman, Kerry Washington, Ioan Gruffudd and Tatyana Ali.

From here, most of the gang is expected to fly out to DC ahead of the inauguration ceremony on January 19. Diddy actually happens to be hosting the BET Honors at Washington D.C.'s Love nightclub on Saturday night (January 17) ahead of the historic moment in the nation's capital.
