Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz's "Wicked" Weekend

Treating his wife to a post-birthday afternoon, Pete Wentz escorted Ashlee Simpson to the Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles, California on Saturday afternoon (October 4).

Showing off her ready-to-pop baby bump, Ashlee, who turned 24-years-old of Friday, and Pete were reportedly there to go to see the musical production "Wicked".

According to Wikipedia, "Wicked" is a story based on the best-selling novel "Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West" by Gregory Maguire.

The tale is a parallel novel of L. Frank Baum's classic story "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" from the perspective of the witches of the Land of Oz.

After taking in the show, Pete and Ashlee then made their way out to the car - with Pete's pants sagging down to show off Ellen boxer shorts - most likely a kind gift from the folks at the "Ellen DeGeneres Show".
