Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz: Christmas Eve Couple

Stepping out for a few last minute errands ahead of the Christmas Eve celebrations, Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz were spotted making their way around New York City on Thursday (December 24).

The Roxie Hart hottie and her Fall Out Boy beau took their son Bronx to a dentist's office before shopping around at a Flea Market in Union Square.

With Pete covering up his swollen black eye underneath a pair of shades, the 30-year-old rocker tweeted of the family outing, "christmas eve last minute presents. forgetting everything i was supposed to remember. My brain has turned into medium hot lava. Mush. Who knows where this cab is taking me? I think he just payed a jersey turnpike toll."

Always keeping things interesting, Wentz later added, "i feel like the 30 year old version of dennis the menace."
