Arrests Made in Sarah Jessica Parker Surrogate Scandal
In St. Clairesville Ohio, two police chiefs are being accused of breaking into the home of Sarah Jessica Parker's surrogate to scoop up information for tabloid material and have been arrested.
Belmont County jail has confirmed that Martins Ferry Police Chief Barry Carpenter and Bridgeport Police Chief Chad Dojack were taken in Wednesday night and released.
Currently, the charges have not been released and it is uncertain if the men posted bonds.
A special prosecutor said they are looking into allegations that the chiefs in May illegally went into the home of Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick’s surrogate, Martins Ferry, who carried their twins. She was not home during the break in.
Harrison County Prosecutor T. Shawn Hervey said he would like to present charges to the grand jury this week and scheduled a news conference for Friday.
