Anne Hathaway: Out to Lunch

Having laid low for awhile, Anne Hathaway is beginning to emerge into civilization again. And yesterday (August 20) she was spotted on her way out to lunch.

The “Get Smart” babe looked uber-chic as she strolled over to Le Conversation restaurant in West Hollywood to meet a gal pal, sporting a sexy strapless black dress and a pair of sandals.

For her follow up to “Get Smart,” Anne will be playing the role of Kym, an estranged daughter to the family who returns for her sister’s wedding in “Rachel Getting Married” (premiering at the Venice Film Festival next month).

Miss Hathaway recently told press that she love variety when it comes to the characters she plays. “My general broad thing that I look for when I’m choosing a role is I like to be the exact opposite of what was the last thing I played. I like things that frighten me. I like doing things I don’t believe I can do and sometimes I can’t do them and they don’t turn out well, and sometimes they do connect and that’s always good, that’s always such a relief.”
