What do you get when you put the most beautiful people in Hollywood together with the most prestigious awards show in cinema? A paparazzi dream come true.

And there were plenty of clamoring photogs trying to edge their way into position this evening when Anne Hathaway arrived at the Kodak Theatre for the 2008 Academy Awards.

The “Princess Diaries” actress brought her fashion A-game in a beautiful red gown (the popular choice of the night) that was no doubt hand-picked by her highly-paid stylist.

But in the end, it’s all worth it. After all, this Oscars shindig only happens once a year, but getting labeled “worst dressed” can last a lifetime.
