Anne Hathaway Combats Hunger in Harlem
Taking the time to think of others this holiday season, Anne Hathaway was spotted at a Harlem, New York school today as part of the Feeding America campaign.
The “Princess Diaries” cutie arrived at the St. Aloysius School looking festive in a red sweater, dark wash jeans, and black flats to hang out and share some food with students.
According to FOX Pop Tarts, Hathaway is joining Scarlett Johansson, Jessica Alba, and Ben Affleck as a celebrity participant in Netflix and Feeding America’s food drive to “spotlight the issue of hunger as food banks across America face a potential crisis in anticipation of the holiday season.”
Anne and her celebrity cohorts are contributing signed custom-drawn prints to Netflix, who is putting together Holiday Gift Boxes for anyone donating $5,000 to Feeding America. There are only 100 limited edition boxes, the proceeds from which will provide 80,000 meals to those in need.
