Angelina Jolie: Suited for Action

Angelina Jolie is known for attracting moviegoers to her films, especially her action movies such as Lara Croft, Mr. & Mrs. Smith and Wanted.

In fact, she's pulled in over $1.2 billion worldwide. And with a new movie, Salt, currently being filmed, box offices will be gearing up for another winner.

The mother of six has been spotted on the set in NYC with sporting both blonde and black wigs, even scaling walls barefoot throughout the streets of Manhattan.

Even with all the success, it sounds as if Miss Jolie may be taking a back seat for awhile following her new action flick, as she has been wanting to focus on her kiddies and partner Brad Pitt. “[Being a mom is] so much fun but it’s very hard work. The kids are forming beautiful friendships. They’re teammates.”

Previously, Angelina was nominated for an Oscar for her role in Changeling, which was directed by Clint Eastwood. Jolie also won an Academy Award in 1999 for Girl, Interrupted, earning high approval from Clint.

The famed star-turned-director bragged, “She is an actress hampered by her gorgeous face-I think the most beautiful face on the planet. People sometimes can’t see past that to her talent. She’s on all these magazine covers so it’s easy to overlook what an amazing actress is underneath.”
