Amy Poehler and Will Arnett Welcome Baby Archie!

Welcoming their first child together into the world, Amy Poehler and Will Arnett are rejoicing in the birth of a healthy baby boy.

"On behalf of Amy and Will, I can confirm that Amy gave birth to Archie Arnett on Saturday, October 25th. He is 8lbs., 1oz., with Amy, Will and Archie all healthy and resting comfortably," the couple's rep, Lewis Kay, told press.

Meanwhile, Amy has previously spoken of how excited and ready she is for her duties as a new mom, saying, "I'm great with kids. I think I'm still a big, giant kid. I understand them and usually we're the same size. I think I understand the way they look up at the world. I get it."

But the new mother also has some big career plans to juggle, as well. Poehler is leaving SNL this year, reportedly in a move to return to NBC this spring to star in a brand new, untitled comedy on the network.
