Alex Rodriguez Throws an All-Star Party

When the going gets tough, the tough throw a party! At least that’s what Alex Rodriguez did last night, as part of the 2008 Major League Baseball All-Star Week.

A-Rod rocked out at his very own shindig at New York City’s swanky 40/40 Club. And he looked slick in a baby blue button-up shirt a pair of belted designer jeans as he posed for the paparazzi with Ingrid Casares.

As for his nasty divorce proceedings, it seems that things have taken a turn towards ugly with Alex’s soon-to-be ex-wife Cynthia making a demand for records of all of his text messages and emails via “Palm Pilots, Treos, iPhones, Sidekicks, and BlackBerries.”

She’s also alleging that A-Rod may have obtained information about her through “wiretapping or other electronic surveillance.” And famed divorce lawyer Raoul Felder says she may have gone off the deep end.

He told press, "This is very interesting. All those other things, financial records, tax records, are ordinary - but this is very out of the ordinary. It's not clear which side could benefit from the alleged snooping. It doesn't look good for him on first blush, that he might have had his wife followed. But if she has nothing to hide, why would she care? This could cut either way."
