Adam Lambert Turns 28, Dishes Party Plans

Following a year in which he shot to stardom, Adam Lambert is celebrating his 28th birthday today, January 29, 2010.

Of his party plans, the "American Idol" runner-up told ET, "I'm throwing my own party for myself and my friends. So I have about 170 people that I've met and I'm inviting them."

Continuing to dish the details, Lamert adds, "I'm spending a pretty penny on this thing, so, buying drinks for everybody, open bar, some food ... DJ."

The celebration may continue, Adam says: "I might take a little vacation here in a week or so -- I might have some time off and I might go down to a resort or something."

Meanwhile, Adam's also lined up to be a Grammy fashion critic for Entertainment Tonight at Sunday night's Grammy Awards - delivering his style opinions directly from the red carpet.
