Adam Lambert Checks In with Alexa Chung

Making another press stop, Adam Lambert was spotted heading into MTV studios in New York City on Tuesday afternoon (November 24).

Showing off his bright smile, the “American Idol” alum was there to interview with “It’s On with Alexa Chung” about his just released album, For Your Entertainment.

As for the news that he has gotten booted from performing on Good Morning America tomorrow, Adam told Ryan Seacrest during an interview this morning: “I’m not a babysitter, I’m a performer. The spirit of rock and roll is alive and well.”

Meanwhile, CBS has since asked Lambert to hit the stage on their Early Show instead.

"I think the adrenaline kind of took me over," Lambert says of the situation. "I admit and I'm kind of proud of the fact that I did get a little carried away. I had a good time and I was merely interpreting the lyrics of my song. It wasn't meant to piss anyone off, it wasn't meant to hurt anyone or cause any problems."
