Catherine Zeta-Jones Rushes Back to Michael's Side
Finished up with a brief trip to Europe, Catherine Zeta Jones was spotted preparing for an outbound flight at Heathrow Airport in London, England on Thursday morning (September 30).
Catching a plane back to New York City, the "Mask of Zorro" actress looked focused as she trekked through the terminal ahead of the overseas jaunt.
As previously reported by GossipCenter, Miss Zeta-Jones made the brief trip to Europe to kick off the 2010 Ryder Cup golf event with a special concert ceremony.
Bringing up her cancer-battling husband Michael Douglas - who was supposed to be in attendance - during her speech, Catherine tearfully said, "Everyone couldn’t be happier with his progress. He’s holding up with great strength and dignity."
The 41-year-old continued, "Michael will be glued to anything that has a golf ball and a club, especially the Ryder Cup. Usually I would be watching it with him. He would be representing the American team and I would be wholeheartedly representing the European team, but not this year, maybe next time."
