Sir Elton John is making the final preparations for a sold-out show tonight (March 25) at Madison Square Garden. This isn't your everyday concert, though, as the pop legend will be celebrating his 60th birthday with his record-setting 60th MSG performance.
Born as Reg Dwight in London on March 25, 1947, Elton has long been a crowd favorite at the coveted venue.
"There are very few artists that could even think of setting a record like this, let alone achieve it," said Jay Marciano, president of MSG Entertainment.
