Carrie Underwood's "Blown Away" Morning in the Big Apple
Her new album Blown Away hits stores tomorrow, and Carrie Underwood was hot on the promotional trail in New York City on Monday (April 30).
The “Good Girl” songstress was featured in a retrospective on "Good Morning America" talking about her humble beginnings and getting discovered on “American Idol.”
“My life took off like a bullet. And I had no idea where i was or what I was doing most days. I just knew it was fun," told Underwood, who's performing on the ABC program on Tuesday.
Carrie also noted that she wouldn’t want to do reality television with her husband Mike Fisher as other celebrities have chosen to do, saying, “I don’t think I could have cameras in my life like that. The thing about my home is it’s home and we’re allowed to be messy and we don’t have to be perfect there. [I like] to be able to come home and leave it all outside and shut the door. It’s nice.”
Along with the ABC segment, the 29-year-old dropped by the Z100 Studio for an Elvis Duran Morning Show interview, with audio and pictures from the visit both found below.
