Kicking off their weekend a bit early, Cameron Diaz and Alex Rodriguez were spotted out to dinner at Matsuhisa in Los Angeles last night (February 17).

The “Charlie’s Angels” babe and the Yankees player both looked to be enjoying the outing despite the constant presence of shutterbugs.

In real estate news, A-Rod is about to plunk down some serious cash on a 3600-square-foot penthouse in the upper West Side Rushmore Building in New York City.

And though there’s no official paperwork just yet, speculators say the posh place will cost Rodriguez around $6.5 million.
