Always one of the most fashionable fetes of the year, the Council of Fashion Designers of America held their annual awards ceremony in New York City on Monday (June 7).
Held at Alice Tulley Hall at the Lincoln Center, Tinseltown beauties showing off their fabulous frocks included the Olsen twins, Dakota Fanning, Gwyneth Paltrow, Sarah Jessica Parker, Whitney Port and Doutzen Kroes.
Paying respects to her longtime friend, Brooke Shields was among the stars to take the stage at Staples Center for the Michael Jackson Memorial Tribute on Tuesday (July 7).
Fighting back tears, Brooke told the crowd, "Michael was one of a kind...Michael always knew he could count on me to be his date. Michael tried in vain one night to unsuccessfully teach me the Moonwalk. Michael loved to laugh. MJ's laugh was the sweetest and purest laugh. His sense of humor was delightful, and he was very mischievous."
The entertainment world was rocked when Michael Jackson passed away almost two weeks ago. And earlier today, celebrities and fans gathered at the Staples Center in Los Angeles in memory of the late singer.
Always very vocal about the King of Pop’s influence on him, Usher arrived at the venue dressed in a black sweater/white shirt/black tie/black trousers combo to perform for the massive crowd.
As previously reported by the Gossip Girls, Kiefer Sutherland allegedly headbutted designer Jack McCollough in the wee hours of Tuesday morning after he refused to apologize to Brooke Shields for bumping into her.
But McCollough’s rep insists that the attack was totally unprovoked. “Anyone who knows Jack McCollough knows that he would not hurt a fly.”
