Disturbed over the leakage of confidential reports, the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office has launched an internal investigation in regards to the release of information pertaining to the death of actress Brittany Murphy.
According to E! News, chief investigator Ed Winter insists that no one authorized the disclosure of reports which ended up on entertainment news site TMZ.

On Sunday morning (December 20) around 7:30am the “Clueless” actress went to the bathroom and shut the door. Around 8am her mother opened the door to check on her and found Murphy’s body on the floor.

As expected, no major announcements were made while LA County Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter's cause of death is "pending the rest of the other tests including toxicology, neuropathology [brain analysis], and histiopathology [analysis of other organs]."
