As an update to the Gossip Girls' Britney Spears hit and run report last night, it seems that the mother of two could be in for some rough weather.
The official story is that Britney is being charged with two misdemeanor offenses… the first one is “hit and run” and the second is “driving without a valid California license.” Both charges carry maximum sentences of $1000 in fines and six months in jail.

Kevin Federline's secret witness made his way into court yesterday, but never got the chance to testify.
According to court reports, the witness was Tony Barretto, a former bodyguard of Britney Spears. Barretto arrived to the courthouse with a lawyer, but "Family Court Commissioner Scott M. Gordon held only a brief open session before clearing the courtroom of everyone but attorneys for Spears and Federline to privately discuss unsealing documents in the ongoing case."

Entertainment insiders were reporting Monday morning that the FBI and Los Angeles police department are investigating unconfirmed reports that Britney Spears' ex-husband has had a contract taken out on his life.
