Britney Spears Gives Legal Control to Fiance

A very trusting Britney Spears had her fiancé, Jason Trawick, approved as a co-conservator by a Los Angeles judge on Wednesday (April 25).

"Jamie's thrilled," his attorney Geraldine Wyle told reporters following the hearing, referring to Spears' father. "It's all in the family."

The pop-star’s dad was already one of her conservators and was apparently a strong supporter behind the move to have Trawick involved in Britney’s future concerns, but it came from her request after a petition was filed on April 6.

Typically conservators have legal authority over a person’s well-being and life decisions, but according to a friend of Spear’s, she has plenty of personal space and the title is simply in name only.
