High Expectations were put in place for the fifth and final season of "Breaking Bad" on Friday (July 13th) at Comic-Con in San Diego, CA, when executive producer Vince Gilligan told the audience, "This season is about winning; and what it means to stay on top."
After releasing the trailer for its new season, the Producer and cast of the hit AMC series spoke about plot details, new characters, and how we may view some characters differently at the end of the season. Aaron Paul, who plays meth dealer Jesse Pinkman, disclosed that, "This entire season is just creepy. Unsettling."
Gilligan revealed to fans that Bryan Cranston's character, Walter White, does something that made him lose all sympathy for the character.
When asked at the panel if his character had any redeeming qualities, the Emmy award-winning actor joked, "He makes damn good meth."
Later that night, Cranston posted a photo of the Comic-Con audience and tweeted, "WOW! The whole cast was blown away by the love. Thank you all for a great nite."
Season 5 of "Breaking Bad" premieres Sunday, July 15th on AMC. Catch the trailer below!
