Never one to shy away from talking about his beloved progeny, Billy Ray Cyrus spoke about Miley Cyrus' recent drama including marijuana usage and her engagement to Liam Hemsworth.
In an interview with "Access Hollywood" on Thursday (April 25), the "Achy Breaky Heart" singer downplayed the drug rumors, saying, "I look back and think, ‘If the Internet would’ve existed when I was her age I’d probably still be in jail.’”
Though he previously was chided by his daughter for speaking about her relationship, Billy Ray Cyrus again shared what he knew about Miley and Liam Hemsworth's engagement.
While promoting his new memoirs, the country singer told ABC news when asked if the wedding was still on, "I don't know. I know as I was writing a book, I wanted to keep that particular moment [Miley’s wedding] as open-ended as possible. I didn’t know the answer."

When asked about his daughter's fiancé, the 51-year-old country singer replied, "Liam [Hemsworth]'s a great guy. I like Liam a lot. The main thing for me is that both of them are happy. Miley's worked really hard, and I'm enjoying right now seeing her so happy."
