George Clooney: 2012 BAFTA Awards Arrival

Always a hit on the red carpet, George Clooney showed up for the 2012 Orange British Academy Film Awards in London, England on Sunday (February 12).

Held at The Royal Opera House, the "Ides of March" actor hobnobbed with the esteemed fellow guests such as Colin Firth before heading inside as the BAFTA festivities were ready to get underway.

During the show, Clooney will be facing off against Brad Pitt, Gary Oldman, Jean Dujardin and Michael Fassbender for Best Leading Actor honors for his work in the movie "The Descendants".

Meanwhile, this year's ceremony sees Stephen Fry as host while John Hurt is to receive the BAFTA Award for Outstanding British Contribution to Cinema.
