Throwing a wrench into his boy band's comeback efforts, A.J. McLean
has reportedly returned to rehab to take on his battle with drugs and alcohol.
The Backstreet Boys singer has long fought addiction woes while having previously entered programs for cocaine and booze back in 2001 and 2002.
Now, TMZ is reporting that McLean is currently "out of control" while threatening to derail the group's plans to hit the road for their upcoming joint tour with New Kids on the Block.
A spokesperson for the singer is yet to comment, with McLean having tweeted this past weekend: "I love u all and wish me luck! I start my sober journey tomm(sic)!" A day later he added, "See u on the other side!"
