Ashanti: Empire State Hottie

She’s no stranger to the limelight, and earlier today (September 24) Ashanti was spotted at the lighting ceremony at the Empire State Building in New York City.

The “Foolish” songstress looked excited to be a part of the “Wizard of Oz” 70th Anniversary festivities, where the building will shine red to commemorate the occasion.

In related news, Ashanti has reunited with her former Murder Inc. partner Ja Rule for a very special performance at the upcoming VH1 Hip Hop Honors.

Ja Rule tweeted, "Hip hop honors tomorrow me eminem and dmx all in the same building lmfao this should be fun can't wait lol!!!..Vh1 hip hop honors airs oct.13 for all those asking gonna be a good show."
