Aretha Franklin’s Son: Attacked in Detroit
It’s no secret that the Motor City isn’t what it used to be, and Aretha Franklin's son Eddie found that out first-hand, unfortunately.
The 52-year-old man was severely beaten at a gas station near the intersection of Plymouth and Evergreen Monday night and was rushed to the hospital.
While details are still yet to be released, it has been reported that Eddie was undergoing emergency surgery earlier today (September 21).
The assailants were said to be two men and one woman, all of which were African American. The woman was approximately 19 years old and one of the men had dreadlocks.
