She’s getting ready for the release of her highly anticipated film “Les Miserables” and during a promotional run Anne Hathaway stopped by “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” this afternoon (December 17).
The 30-year-old opened up to the hilarious host about portraying Katie Holmes on “Saturday Night Live” and also discussed her breaking her arm on the set of the blockbuster smash “The Dark Knight Rises.”
While speaking about her recent “SNL” hosting gig, Miss Hathaway said, “This is the second time I’ve done Katie [Holmes]. I wanted Katie to come on the show and do me and I wanted to do this rap about how awesome I think Katie Holmes is, but she is on Broadway and she’s killing it on Broadway, so she was busy.”
Anne gushed about the late night cast, explaining, “Everyone’s great, but the women are really shining this year. I kind of have a crush on all of them and I just want to stop by the offices and hang out and braid their hair.”
She also dished about breaking her arm while filming scenes for “The Dark Knight Rises” and said, “When my husband went to pick up my pain meds, the pharmacist was like, ‘Catwoman can’t ride a bike?’ — so I was like, Oh my God, I can’t let anyone know about this. I managed to keep it a secret. Until now.”
