If you adopt a child as your own, you want it to be as authentic as possible. For Angelina Jolie that includes a name change for her Vietnamese adoptee. With Brad Pitt a part of the picture, Jolie is seeking to change Pax’s last name to Jolie-Pitt according to a Santa Monica Court.
Being that Jolie and Pitt are not officially married, it was difficult for them to adopt the child, given that Vietnamese law frowns on unwed couples’ adoption. That being so, Angelina was the sole adopter of Pax.
