Andy Dick
Andrew R. "Andy" Dick (born December 21, 1965) is an American comedian, actor, musician and TV/film producer. Andy Dick was arrested early Saturday morning (January 23) in Huntington, WV and has been charged with two felony counts of first-degree sexual abuse.
He's certainly had his fair share of legal run-ins, and now Andy Dick has been slapped with a lawsuit for quite the unusual circumstances.
The "Blonde Ambition" comedic actor is alleged to have rubbed his male parts on the face of a comedy club patron named Robert Tucker back in December 2010.
Continuing what seems to be a chaotic time in his life, Andy Dick was arrested at a restaurant in Temecula, CA last night (May 2) after officials say he was acting disorderly.
Authorities believed the 45-year-old comedian to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the incident - with Dick being known to struggle with addiction woes.
Just when we thought he was cleaning up his act, Andy Dick has landed himself in trouble once again.
The comedian was arrested early Saturday morning (January 23) in Huntington, WV and has been charged with two felony counts of first-degree sexual abuse.
Once again finding trouble with the law, comedian Andy Dick was arrested early on Wednesday morning (July 16) outside of a bar in Murrieta, California.
The 42 year old comedian was described by police officers as “extremely intoxicated” at the time of his arrest, being arrested on drug and sexual battery charges after he allegedly lifted up a 17-year-old girl's top in the parking lot.
Usually comedians are standing up on a stage making people laugh so hard that they fall over. But sometimes, as in Jon Lovitz’s case, they’re knocking people over by other means.
Last week Jon Lovitz beat the crap out of Andy Dick. It all happened at the legendary Laugh Factory, where the owner, Jamie Masada witnessed the whole thing. He told press, "Jon picked Andy up by the head and smashed him into the bar four or five times, and blood started pouring out of his nose."
This year is the 79th Annual Academy Awards (Feb. 25th), or more commonly known as the Oscars. Big winners from previous award shows (Babel, Dreamgirls, Departed, and Little Miss Sunshine) are expected to do well, and some late arrivals (Blood Diamond and Notes on a Scandal) just might sneak away with a couple awards. Regardless, it will make for an entertaining awards show as so many quality films are in the running. Listed below is a recap of the nominees by category for the Oscars, and they are as follows:
Performance by an actor in a leading role:
Leonardo DiCaprio in “Blood Diamond” (Warner Bros.)
Ryan Gosling in “Half Nelson” (THINKFilm)
Peter O’Toole in “Venus” (Miramax, Filmfour and UK Council)
Will Smith in “The Pursuit of Happyness” (Sony Pictures Releasing)
Forest Whitaker in “The Last King of Scotland” (Fox Searchlight)
