Amy Poehler is a comedian/actress who is most famous from her role on Saturday Night Live. She also starred in hit movies, Baby Mama and Mean Girls. Poehler is not returning to SNL for the 08-09 season, but instead is working on a lead role in a new NBC series which will be airing early 2009

The second annual Comedy Central Comedy Awards were taped last night (April 28) in New York City and some of our favorite comedians including Kristen Wiig, Will Arnett and Maya Rudolph were in attendance.

The awards show honors the best in stand-up, television, film, and online hysteria, as well as recognizing the legendary comedians of our time. This year, the special mentions were dedicated towards comedic icon Don Rickles and funny man Robin Williams, who called himself "one of the luckiest (bleeps) in show business, with the possible exception of Ryan Seacrest."

Paying tribute to two worthy individuals while also raising much-needed funds, the 2011 LACMA Art + Film Gala was held at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art on Saturday night (November 5).

With this year's honorees being Clint Eastwood and artist John Baldessari, the swanky affair was co-chaired by Leonardo DiCaprio and Eva Chow while collecting cash for "the museum’s recently reenergized film program, which now includes exhibitions, acquisitions, educational programming, screenings, and a series called Live Read created by Jason Reitman."
