She rose to fame thanks to her gig on “Melrose Place” back in the 1990s but now Amy Locane-Bovenizer will be known for something else- killing a New Jersey man with her car.
The 39-year-old actress has been charged with vehicular manslaughter after driving drunk into the side of Fred Seeman’s car in Montgomery. Mr. Seeman is in critical condition while his wife Helene was pronounced dead at the scene.
A law enforcement official told press, “Responding officers detected the odor of alcohol on defendant Locane-Bouvenizer’s breath and observed other signs of impairment.”
Locane-Bovenizer admitted to having consumed several glasses of wine before getting behind the wheel. She faces multiple charges and could be behind bars for up to 20 years.
