Amy Adams Holds Court at “Into The Woods” Opening Night
Kicking off her gig with Shakespeare in the Park, Amy Adams showed up onstage at the Delacorte Theater for “Into the Woods” in New York City last night (August 9).
The “Julie and Julia” starlet looked focused as she masterfully acted out her scenes while the packed house looked on in amazement.
Afterwards, Amy joined the rest of her costars at a swanky after party where she did a few interviews and chatted with guests.
Per a synopsis, “The 1987 musical, with a score by Stephen Sondheim and a book by James Lapine, tells a story both sweet and gay. It's also a powerful and elegiac lullaby of anguish, grief, and acceptance of disappointment, particularly the disappointment shared by parents and children.”
