America Ferrera’s Next Move

As her gig with “Ugly Betty” draws to a close, America Ferrera is already eyeing a new project to occupy her time.

The “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” babe will be staying in the television realm, only this time she’ll be behind the camera.

Ferrera will be serving as an executive producer on an interactive TV and Web show called “Pedro & Maria” coming to the MTV network.

Promoted as a modern-day “Romeo & Juliet,” the show will be guided by the audience, who will be able to vote on the direction of the plot.
