Amanda Bynes Quits Hollywood

While many out there would do just about anything for a Tinseltown career, Amanda Bynes has made it clear that Hollywood stardom isn't for her.

The "Hairspray" hottie took to her Twitter account to make the surprising announcement that she's pulling the plug on her acting endeavors.

She wrote, "Being an actress isn't as fun as it may seem,. If I don't love something anymore, I stop doing it. I don't love acting anymore, so I've stopped doing it."

With 2007's "Hairspray" having been her last project, the blonde beauty added, "I know 24 is a young age to retire but you heard it here first I've retired. I've never written the movies & tv shows I've been a part of. I've only acted like the characters the producers or directors wanted me to play."
