Alanis Morissette Chats with "Chelsea Lately"

She’s writing a book and having a baby, and life for Alanis Morissette couldn’t get much more exciting.

The “Ironic” songstress was spotted out grabbing some coffee with her newlywed husband Mario “Souleye” Treadway following her appearance on “Chelsea Lately” yesterday (August 11).

During her interview, Alanis and Chelsea looked to get along wonderfully. Chelsea declared, “You look beautiful, and it’s because you’re pregnant!” Alanis replied, “I’m glowing!”

When asked how she found out she was pregnant, Ms. Morissette explained, “I talked to my doctor and he basically said, ‘This looks like the screen of a pregnant lady.’ And I said, ‘There’s still a chance that I’m not though, yes?’”

She continued, “And he said, ‘About as likely as my getting a sex change.’ And I said, ‘So when are you getting your sex change?’”
